The packaging left a lot to be desired if you intend to give it as a gift like I did, it's two boxes taped together.We ended up needing to return it though. We tested it in the house with the plug to make sure it was functional but when he went to put it in his work truck the plug drew too much power. It seems if you intend to use this for the car you must be able to have a dedicated lighter outlet for it, the plug is for home use only. The plug was the selling point for me because that's the only way he can use it.
