Nearly impossible to use. *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2021* This is a review of the teeth whitening kit.DO NOT USE if you are the least bit concerned with teeth sensitivity issues or have any kind of gag reflex.After just 3 applications, my teeth and gums are much more sensitive than before. The instructions admit "Avoid getting gel on your gums" but that is absolutely impossible. I recommend applying the paste with a q-tip for better accuracy but you'll need to keep your mouth and lips wide open while you apply it. If your mouth slips up at all, the paste will get all over the inside of your mouth. And when you slide the tray on, it'll push some of the paste up into your gums anyway.The paste comes in 3 injector needles that keep pushing out the paste unless you pull back on the push part to relieve the pressure. If you pull back on that part too much, it'll come flying off and paste will go everywhere. This is all while you are struggling to keep your mouth wide open and apply the paste to your teeth and not your gums. I'm not sure why the paste has to come in these needle injector things and not just a regular tube like toothpaste is.The trays are a little tricky to mold, so much so they send you 3 in assumption that you'll mess at least one of them up. Once the tray material is softened by the hot water, you'll want to make sure the sides stay to the side and don't get pushed down while inserting them onto your teeth. Once they fold over and make contact with the rest of the tray, they won't ever come apart. Leave them in your mouth for a good while to ensure they have hardened and won't move at all once you take them out.You may find it difficult to keep the two trays in your mouth for 20 minutes, especially if you have any kind of gag reflex. I ended up trimming off the back ends of the trays so it wasn't so packed into the back of my mouth and awful, which helped but may have created a bigger exit for the paste to leak out of. Your mouth may very well begin to produce a LOT of saliva which made me worry that I was swallowing too much of the paste. The instructions also read "Avoid swallowing the gel". It's a big vomit like mess once the 20 minutes are over.Due to how messy this gets with all the saliva and paste, you'll definitely want to rinse everything off. But the LED light is far from waterproof. I just lightly rinsed the end part of it that goes in your mouth and held it upside down to try to not to get any water on the rest of it, drying it immediately. That night, I noticed a blue light going on and off in the bathroom. I had to take the batteries out and let it fully dry. The light leaked out some brown rust looking stuff. It still works but won't fully shut off now. No where in the instructions does it say not to get this piece wet.Needless to say, I gave up in the middle of trying to apply the 4th application. Not worth the hope for whiter teeth. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It actually works! *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2019* I drink a LOT of coffee, so I whiten my teeth 2-3 times a year. I've used strips, both dissolving and removable, and the moldable tray kind. This was my first LED light brand, and I have to say, I was surprised to see results after only the second use. They suggest ten min. sessions to start, in case you have sensitive gums, but I don't, so I went 20 min.the 1st nite, and 30 on the 2nd. It takes a few minutes to adjust to having the LED thing in your mouth, but you get used to it. Just remember to breathe thru your nose. You also can't talk while using this, so your S.O. may enjoy that,or if you live alone and talk to yourself, you can't...both plusses in my book. I found that putting the gel directly into the mold is much easier than trying to apply to your teeth. As well as this work, there will be enough gel for 2-3 sessions, so I won't have to buy more for quite a while. Give it a try! I tried trimming them but they were still very uncomfortable. I essentially had to keep cutting them more.Secondly, the molding process. Awful. I followed the steps and it was still really hard to get them to mold properly. Had to dip them into the hot water several times and still didn't mold properly.The Charcoal solution was fine and i didn't feel any sensitivity on my gums or teeth, but the trays situation definitely made it harder for me to use this product properly.Overall, it's not the most comfortable whitening kit I've used, but I've used their products before and I know they make good stuff.
