If you do purchase this, try not to move it around very much, especially if you have woods floors. If you have carpet or a rug underneath, you will probably be okay. Also, not very good for homes with children as my son knocks this over with ease. I placed it next to my living room chair. It arrived in perfect condition. Because it is clear it does not take up visual space. If I want to I can flip it on the side and use it that way too -- in the summer I may do that so I can put my living room fan on top and put it out on my terrace to circulate air on a humid night.
