Might be exactly the look you want. i use arches watercolor paper and cotton canvas with Blick gesso usually.........and I have found multiple effects that please me. takes preparations to use.......drying time choice of surface. But it is a wonderful tool in the arsenal.

I saw this product being used on an art demo on UTUBE to seal watercolor postcards. It really works well at keeping your pictures waterproof, and is very easy to apply. It goes a long way so you don't have to use much for perfect results.
