I then wash my hair with my usual shampoo. Conditioner is not necessary. Towel dry hair and apply a small amount of the product to your hair. You do not need much, just enough to lightly cover you entire hair. Then blow your hair about 50% dry. I then pin my hair in sections and starting with the bottom, take a section of hair about 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide. Using your fingers, dip them in the product and apply to the entire hair strand. Starting about 1" from your scalp, squeeze and hold the flat iron to the hair strand. Do not pull the flat iron down the the hair, just press and hold in place. The product will snap and crackle. I hold it until it stops making this sound. Then release the flat iron and do the same thing all the way down the hair strand. At this point your hair will feel stiff, but that's okay. Continue as above with another strand of hair and keep going until all of your hair is done. This may take a while especially if you have particularly long hair but it is worth it. Leave it in until your hair has cooled. I wait a good 15 minutes or so. Then just rinse with lukewarm to almost cool water. You are now done and your hair will be soft, soft, soft. I don't use it very often because it takes some time to apply it correctly with a curling iron or flat iron and I never seem to have extra time. But when I do, my hair looks and feels fabulous. I color my hair, and use a curling iron daily so it gets dried out. This stuff really helps get it back in shape. BTW: You should search the web before buying.
