Review: A great replacement for an OEM cap - The Fujifilm XF 60mm macro lens arrived with what must be the world's worst lens cap. It's flimsy and barely stays on. I ordered the CamDesign cap hoping that it would be a decent replacement. It is. It seems to be as well made as similar-looking caps from Tamron. The spring tension is good and the cap fits nice and tight. It comes with a permanently attached thread for cap-keeping purposes — I cut that off right away. The package also contained a thick, strong 2.5"-diameter rubber band labeled "70-200". Perhaps it's a wrist band, also for cap-keeping purposes? No idea, but who knows — it might come in handy some day. If there's any problem with the lens cap it's that the inner "rails" are too low-profile, but they can be built up easily enough with the miracle product called Sugru. Otherwise, the cap is just what the doctor ordered.

I ordered this to use on my Camp Snap 2 and it fits perfectly. Snaps on and holds on place to protect your lense. So far so good with noncompliant.
