I soak beans overnight and follow the instruction, but some beans are overdone and others are undercook** A: Respectfully, any time I've ever had problems over the decades with beans not cooking evenly it was invariably due to a batch of mixed old AND new beans. This happens more than you might think, and unfortunately a recent purchase of mine of small red beans in 25 lb. bulk are proving to be exactly that. Soaking an extra couple of hours seems to help a little (10 hours instead of 8) and then bringing to full heat and pressure a little more slowly, then pressure cooking one extra minute than you normally would. All those things together will help when old and new beans have been mixed together. **Q: Can someone please confirm that this pressure cooker is induction stove compatible by seeing if a magnet will stick to the bottom?
