Review: Great and stylish mailbox - This mailbox is beautiful and plenty big for letters, magazines, small to medium packages, etc. The hardware provided is a little on the cheap side and silver, which doesn't match the bronze color at all, but they're on the inside so it's not that big of a deal. A quick trip to a Lowe's type place and you can pick up sturdier hardware to match your color, if you so choose. The mailbox attaches to the wall with two screws up top, so the bottom is essentially hanging free. I would suggest you either add a little double-sided tape or some bumper pads to the back, which is what I did, so as to prevent your mailbox from loudly banging on the exterior wall every time you use it. Along the same lines, add a little WD-40 or similar lubricant to the top hinges as soon as you receive it, as it will start loudly creaking shortly after installing every time you open it. I guess that also depends on the weather where you live, but might as well take care of it ASAP. I am very happy with the mailbox, especially after the little additions or adjustments I made, and it looks great outside my front door.
