I took it out yesterday on a charter and absolutely slammed grouper with it! Drag is smooth and easy to adjust and it helps prevent a birds nest backlash if you don't get your thumb on the line in time. Just let it do it's thing and it works itself out. It rocks itself back and forth until it straightens itself out...you've just got to lightly hold your thumb over it while it does.
