I absolutely loathe having to re-read what I read two books ago to explain the current one. Ms. Low is able to introduce threads that faintly whisper of a future character development without explicitly saying when or how: we are left with the expectation. The character then is rewarded with his (or her) own story and all those "I wonder why"s, and "huum"s we experienced when we first met them are hinted at, pulling you in like the fly to the spider.All the elements of an exciting read happen: danger, romance, drama, and sex. The difference between Gennita Low and most authors of the military "danger, romance, drama, and sex" variety is that each story is different, not a cookie cutter version of the initial book in the series with a change of name of the characters. And, since I happened to just pick a title when I first read Ms. Low, I can pretty much guarantee that whether you read the different stories forward, or decide to dig out the stories prior to one you are reading, they stand alone.Thank you Ms. Low. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Who are these people *by M***R on March 21, 2020* No one is quite who they seem, and that is the standard protocol for this set of agencies. There are a lot of moving parts and world building as this book picks up immediately after book ones ending.Now the focus is on the second in charge and there is a secret weapon being used to determine what all the secrets are in play. The romance is fast, but when certain details are shared it is very fitting.Interesting characters and intriguing premise for the world, story an series. I want to see more of Jed, T and others! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Facing Fear *by D***C on August 30, 2019* WOW! What another intriguing story. This story is about Rick and Nikki. Rick was only half living since losing his wife. He is in search of his missing wife's remains and had been for the last decade. In walks Nikki! She is so familiar to Rick and the shocked came in the middle of the story - Nikki is actually Rick's missing wife. That out a shock in to me. Now, Rick tries to find out what had happened. The two find their second chance at happiness again. The last few chapters seemed to hold all the action. I am really hoping that Cam and Party are found alive. I really like these two as a couple. FANTASTIC job Gennita!
