This kit comes with some good equipment. Nothing about it seems substandard. I like the Hayward sand filter but opted to purchase a 220 volt Hayward Max flo VS (variable speed) pump separately instead of using the 110 volt 12 amp pump that came in the kit. With some patience in making sure we had a good level foundation and using a bottom pad and coving the pool is as close to perfect as it gets. It took some help from friends when it came to installing the wall but as first timers we were successful. I contacted the seller with an issue and they got back to me quickly and were willing to remedy the situation quickly. I see no reason to spend more on a pool.
