Review: Clamps do not hold it in place. - The seat is very sturdy, but the clamps that are supposed to hold it in place so that it is secure don’t work very well. My mom used it for a day and I took it off cause it kept sliding back. I didn’t have time to return it with my mom being on hospice.

Someone recommended the shorter rise 2” lift with this product. We ordered it, it came fast and she is so happy, it is much easier for her to sit and get up. No issues with install, although this new seat goes on top of the existing seat. Highly recommend!

**Q: Will this fit on an elongated toilet?**
A: Yes, it will fit on the elongated toilet, but depending on the weight of the person using it; it can break off of the toilet.  If the person weighs more than 200 pounds, there are problems.

A: THE LID IS ATTACHED

**Q: Can you sit on the closed lid?  Is it strong enough for a 130 lb. person.**
A: I'm sorry, but I don't have this seat anymore. But, yes, you could sit on the lid. However I don't know what the weight limit is. Sorry!

### ⭐ Unsafe, too narrow in width, not for the handicapped

This toilet seat attaches to your existing toilet bowl by simply balancing on top of the bowl and tightening two rubber-lined plastic strips. It theoretically raises the seat two inches so that a disabled person can use a low toilet. It does not sit on the top of your existing toilet's seat as claimed in the description provided. It also does not fit on an American Standard toilet, a widely sold unit for at least 75 years. The PCP raised seat is too narrow in width. Consequently, it won't remain tightened and slides off or lifts up when the disabled person attempts to get up or even lean one way or the other. The PCP seat from the company called "Compressed Stockings" is extremely dangerous. Extremely. Attempt at return is onerous; we will discard this item.
