The foam is just the right softness.It seems crazy that a pillow would make such a difference in my sleep, but thus far I have slept upon it for about a week and I no longer turn about in my sleep to get comfortable;I find that I lay down, feel extremely comfortable, fall asleep, and wake up in the same position but completely refreshed! It's unreal.
