I had previously used Ion magenta which is supposed to be permanent. It faded to mostly blonde with random patches of pink in less than 2 weeks. I put this over it to hide the blonde and it is the most amazing color ever. In bright light the pink undertones shine but in other lighting it almost looks like a deep purple. No comment on how long it lasts yet, just did my hair today.ETA: after a few weeks of washing once to twice a week it’s holding very nicely. Has faded slightly to a bright pink but still has purple undertones depending on the light. When my roots grow in enough to annoy me or it fades too much (whichever comes first) I’ll bleach my roots and redo this color cause I’m totally obsessed.
