Nice tight bass response for a 4x6 speaker with clear, crisp high's. Drastically better than the stock paper cone speaker. For my application, I did not need a speaker grille, but it would have been nice to include a set of speaker wires (not included). I had to purchase some solderless connectors to complete the install. Tip: Carefully remove the adhesive rubber gasket from your GM stock rear speakers and transfer it to the DB461. This fits almost perfectly and will reduce any metal to metal contact that may "buzz" when cranking up your new speakers. Yes you do have to drill four small holes in the door to attach the speakers. Installation time was under an hour for both rear doors, minus the run to the store for the speaker connectors. Save time and get the connectors first before starting. The stock stereo head unit sounds great with just upgrading the stock speakers!
Review: Sounds great, desertcart screwed up the "it fits" - desertcart said they fit, they do not! I had to drill proper mounting holes and space them about 3/4" off of the dash to get the tweeter far enough away. Other that desertcart screwing up they sound amazing for the price.

Amazon said they fit, they do not! I had to drill proper mounting holes and space them about 3/4" off of the dash to get the tweeter far enough away. Other that Amazon screwing up they sound amazing for the price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good sound for a great price

Installed these Polk 4x6 speakers in the rear panels of a Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet, to go with a same size pair of Blaupunkt speakers in the door panels up front. The car only has it's stock am/fm cassette, and I wanted to keep this classic as it came from the factory. The Polk's worked great to replace the rear panel speakers that were worn out. The sound is full and rich especially when playing some cassette tapes I recorded, and the volume is good even with the top down. Would recommend these Polks as a good replacement speaker where a 4x6 is needed.
