Review: Small is Hermit Crab Size, great for tiny reptiles - The product arrived exactly as described, the small is equivalent to the “hermit crab” size you would find at a pet store. It’s a bit small for most reptiles, as I purchased for a hatchling tortoise and it is too shallow/ low. My tarantula should love it though.
Review: A little too small. - I purchased 3 of these for my mice. Previously I had larger ones that were store bought and didn't pay close enough attention here to the size. These are TINY. I can't imagine many pets that would be able to fit under them; my adult female mouse can not as shown in the picture. I'm not docking stars for the size as that was my own mistake and the larger versions of these are excellent, but keep in mind if you have any pet that will be getting larger than a hatchling bearded dragon that you should just go with a larger one and save some money. For now these still provide my mice with something to chew and store food under but next time I'm ordering the correct size!

The product arrived exactly as described, the small is equivalent to the “hermit crab” size you would find at a pet store. It’s a bit small for most reptiles, as I purchased for a hatchling tortoise and it is too shallow/ low. My tarantula should love it though.
