I’ve had it in my pool for about 2 weeks now, and my chlorine levels are always perfect. When the chlorine tabs get tiny, I take them out, put them in my skimmer, and then put 2 more tabs in the fish. I would say you’d be replacing the tabs once a week. To open, you have to unscrew the fish from the base. Then drop the chlorine tabs. Then screw the top back on, which sometimes takes me a few tries to get right, maybe it’s just me. Then you drop it into the pool and done… so easy to use! Review: Well-made and reasonably long lasting in the sun and chemicals - It is well-made, not flimsy at all. It does the job.
