Advertised that wired headphones at moderate volume would last 20hrs, and that seems very reasonable. But then, it charged back to full strength via USB in an hour and 10 mins, super impressed! For sush a small and lightweight unit, the battery life and user friendly OS is impressive and will do exactly what I need for in the car and whilst working, while freeing up my phone for other uses. I first arranged these into folders and sub-folders on my laptop, then 'dragged and dropped' copies onto a SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD inserted into the slot on the side of the player. (The SD card slots completely into the player with no protruding edges.) I therefore have ample memory, even when I add lossless music files. Plus sides-good physical size, expandable up-to 128GB. Even though other reviewers suggest it’s clunky, I never had any problems with it as I use it purely as an mp3 player. Battery life good, but it’ll need recharging after about 8 hours usage. Good sound through quality noise cancelling headphones. Negatives-could never get the Bluetooth to connect to my phone or Bluetooth earbuds-not an issue as I use wired headphones. Could not use the radio as it couldn’t pick up a signal-again, not a problem as I don’t listen the radio on a player. I didn’t use the pedometer. What I did part particularly like was the way I set it up-initially I copied my mp3 by albums so I could listen to individual cds.
