Review: Good, quiet, BIG - Works well, my i7-4930 idles at 37 degrees when the house is 76F, about 52-54C under heavy load. Very quiet. Not too hard to install on my ASUS RAMPAGE IV BLACK motherboard, however it covers two RAM slots. Luckily I'm only using 4 out of the 8 slots so I'm OK but some people will find it does not fit with their setup so I took off 1 star. ....edit Well, I'm apparently a bit of an idiot. I realized that I could rotate the cooler 90 degrees and it would be out of the way of all the RAM slots. I did this and it actually runs about 3 degrees cooler now. It's still big but not blocking anything on my motherboard anymore. I'm giving it back it's 5th star. I'm now very happy with this purchase. Review: monster cooling power, superior quality, super quiet, - this thing is HUGE. And quiet. And it keep my i7 8700k cool without even spinning up past where I have it idle at 30%... I could post actual stats but I'm just not motivated. Suffice it to say I agree with the positive reviews. Install was easy and painless like the other Be Quiet products. Build quality is superb. I have no doubts it would do a TDP 250 watts but the 8700K will never get anywhere near that. Hell I could probably run it WITHOUT a fan... ## Features - Improved dynamic wave-contour cooling fins with enhanced cooling area and small dots on the surface increase air circulation and contribute to high convection efficiency without raising overall noise - Support of additional 120mm fan for extreme cooling performance (free fan clips are included in the scope of delivery) - Six high-performance heat pipes with copper lining and aluminum caps carry heat to the optimal location on the cooling fins, maximizing heat conductance - The extremely high cooling capacity of 190W TDP offers low temperature even at peak performance - New arrangement of heat pipes enhances the cooling capacity ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HPX7IKU | | Brand | be quiet! | | Brand Name | be quiet! | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Cooling Method | Fan | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 606 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04260052183618, 05054484568445 | | Included Components | be quiet! Very quiet. Not too hard to install on my ASUS RAMPAGE IV BLACK motherboard, however it covers two RAM slots. It's still big but not blocking anything on my motherboard anymore. I'm giving it back it's 5th star. I'm now very happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ monster cooling power, superior quality, super quiet, *by R***B on July 26, 2018* this thing is HUGE. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great air cooler *by F***C on April 12, 2017* Great air cooler. Very large, but looks great in a windowed case. Gets dinged a lot by others for the installation - just read the directions carefully. You put the nuts on BEFORE you mount this on the motherboard, so the people saying there wasn't clearance to tighten the nuts weren't doing it right. Don't get me wrong - other mounting systems are a bit easier, but this one isn't too bad. Fan, as with all Be Quiet brand fans, is very quiet. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/13165943-be-quiet-bk018-dark-rock-3-cpu-cooler-lga775-1150](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/13165943-be-quiet-bk018-dark-rock-3-cpu-cooler-lga775-1150) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
