A: That would be an act of god not covered by warranties or standard home owners policy.  For flood you need federal flood insurance. You qualify if you are within in the 100 yr flood plain.

**Q: do you have to vacum the lines**
A: You should vacuum the lines on any system, even if they advertise that you don’t have to. That’s just a gimmick.  your system will work five times better than if you don’t, and it will last a lot longer also. you can buy a cheap vacuum pump with gauges here on Amazon for less than $100, it’s easy peasy to do. YouTube videos will show you how. Don’t fear the reaper

**Q: When mounted to an exterior wall, does the condensor still need to maintain 12 inches from it? I am reading conflicting information. Thank you.**
A: Yes!
Needed for proper air flow through unit.
I made my own brackets out of deep unistrut.
Cut and welded them.
You can but angle brackets to make then if you don’t weld.

**Q: Does it have to use wifi? I dont have it available in my area.**
A: Understand wifi is the one on your internet connection in your home. The idea being it can link to that wifi router, and then you can load a program on your computer or smart phone to see the status and control it remotely.
