**Q: I purchased the valve, but I'm struggling to push it into manhole pipe. The plastic fins are exposed. Help - will it still work?**
A: Yes it will still work.  Ideally twist the valve left and right with pressure to fit in pipe.  If pipe is small fitment then check it by turning on all taps and flush toilet to see if it stays in place while maximum water pressure is going through it.

**Q: Does it need Maintenance**
A: No maintenance but best to check every 6 months that the Valve is not obstructed by debris and still firmly located in the the pipe.

**Q: Does it serve for sewage or rainwater only?**
A: Connex to sur pride coming out of the house work   Well-and stops   Ret  Entry in your  Tallec

**Q: Can the rodents gnaw the plastic parts and make their way back in?  There is a picture shared about this.**
A: Hi, THank you for your question, No they can no longer gnaw through the New and Improved Non REturn Valve as all the plastic is protected with 316 stainless steel.

I have used other types of rodent valves previously to properties I own. These are a little more expensive, but much easier to fit and very effective. The main access for rats to a property is the drains, often via a break or a disused drain under a new extension, this time the rats disappeared in 2 days. They can leave but can't get back in, they look really confused when they came back to try and regain entry. Exclusion, is better than poisoning and all the hassle that brings.
