## Description

Securely and easily install bird feeder poles with the Droll Yankees INC Black Safe Wrap Hook. The powder coated steel hook features a tension wrap that holds hook in place at any height, a safety twist end and a ten pound weight limit. Ideal for use with a one inch bird feeder pole. Hook measure eight inches and is available in black.

Review: It is very sturdy! - Purchased for a diode Christmas tree in front of home. The one inch bracket diameter needed to be enlarged to fit over the tree trunk covered with wiring. Took quite an effort with hammer and vice to enlarge the 1” bracket a bit, but I got it done. ( product has a high carbon content, is is very strong steel) It now fits over the tree trunk and wiring, and will work as planned. It’s really quite a unique in its design.
Review: Great feeder pole add-on - This is an add-on I like well enough to have bought a second. The first is on a shepherd's pole, on the thicker section where an arm attaches to the pole. I wasn't sure if it would work, since that section is not actually round, just two round pieces soldered together. However, it stays put in wind and bad weather and squirrel attack, holding a Brome Squirrel Buster Standard. There are birds, including cardinals, feeding, but no squirrels. I'm able to hang three feeders this way, which is great. It does come down if I'm not careful when I refill the feeder, but it's simple to put back. I just bought a very tall feeder with a 1 1/4" diameter and put on one of these for holding a seed cake feeder for woodpeckers. That is working well, especially since I can't reach other feeder arms without a stool. I have a Slinky (squirrel deterrent) hanging on the feeder, but it hasn't gotten in the way. This is one of the few Droll Yankees products that is (at under $8) reasonably priced, and I recommend it as an easy way to add on a lightweight feeder to your existing set-up.

**Q: Ok, I feel like the world's dumbest person. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this on my feeder pole. What is the trick?**
A: I have gotten it on - 'have to sort of "screw" it around the pole.  However, it keeps slipping down the pole on me - especially when the squirrels jump it -so it hasn't been such a great purchase for me, either.

**Q: Will this work on a square pole?**
A: It works fine on a square poll. I have it on my 1/2" shepherd hook and it doesn't slide as long as there is weight attached (the bird feeder itself should be enough weight) to the far end. Very happy with the product

**Q: It claims this will fit on 1" poles but some reviews say the diameter is 3/4". Which is it? I need it for a 1" pole.**
A: The diameter of the pole this fits on is 1"

**Q: can two hooks be used on same pole?**
A: Sure, although they should face opposite directions (or nearly so) to minimize interference from the two feeders.  If your pole is tall enough, there's really no reason why you couldn't use three or more hooks (although do mind your pole's total weight capacity, if known).  Best of luck!

Instead of buying a new pole to hang a bird feeder, I was able to use this device to add hanging arm to existing pole. The pole’s diameter was a little small so I used a couple of plastic tie wraps to tighten arm to pole. Worked fine.
