Review: Using this to measure water pressure with esphome - This sensor seems very accurate for monitoring water pressure. I'm doing this at a community water plant so the staff can check the plant status from home. This prevents them from making middle-of-the-night trips to see if things are running. I set up a homeassistant server and put this one an esp32 using esphome. This works very well and allows me to remotely troubleshoot and update the system - since my home is a couple of hours away from the water plant. I heartily recommend home assistant and esphome for this. It's cheap, it's easy, and it's reliable. The equivalent commercial system is thousands of dollars and has a subscription fee. Though home assistant has a subscription for remote access, it's cheap, and the components for this project were under $400. This sensor works with the 3.3V provided by an esp32. And the analog sensor has enough resolution for this task. The results correlate very well with the expensive monitoring system they have that's not cloud-enabled. Before this, we had used Particle and Ubidots and created a similar system (which has been running since 2017). But IOT cloud systems have gotten very expensive lately and are persnickety, so we are self-hosting (with a home assistant).
Review: Failed with first usage. - This sensor failed the first time I used it in my application. I tested it on a bench using a 5V power source before installation and got increasing voltage readings with increasing pressure - but then installed it in my device and the sensor failed. I'd look elsewhere for a higher quality item that actually comes with some documentation.

**Q: What type of thread is this?  are there fittings anywhere to work with this? one thread of a npt is not enough!**
A: It’s 1/4NPT.  NPT is a standard.  I ordered this as a replacement for my oil pressure sensor and it threaded right in to my block.
