I got the 50 series because I was told that it has a nice deep sound without any drone in the cab. I first installed it and put a down turn before the axle, it was loud and had a great tone but was a bit too loud in the cab for me. I went back and put the down turn after the axle using the bend from the original pipe. This made a world of difference! I still have the same nice sound outside but no drone inside. In fact, the only time I really hear it is when I step on it which is nice. I would definitely recommend this. Review: 5.3L vortec with Flowmaster Delta 50 series. - Sounds great! It's not super loud and droney. (Also my exit pipe is 3", factory was 2.5") It has a nice rumble at idle and gets a bit louder when you gas it. It's perfect. If you drive like a grandpa it's not too loud or obnoxious, but if you give her the beans she will rip. Especially when you go 100%.
