Review: Best we've tried - love them! - We have several of these in various sizes, and we just ordered more to replace the remaining mats of other types (4 cats, 5 litter boxes). We love these - they're much more effective than any other litter mats we've ever tried. They do an excellent job of getting the litter off the paws and collecting it, and they're deep enough that you don't have to immediately clear them - they work for weeks. When you do feel the need, it's easy to vacuum them (I use a small shop vac), or you can just pick them up and hold them vertically, letting all the litter slide out through the one open end. They're also soft and squishy, so they're comfortable to step on, for either us or the cats. (And tbh, I sometimes step on one to get stray litter bits off my socks.) They seem to be quite durable, as well - we've been using a couple of them for 4 years and they show no signs of wear, unlike some flat mesh-topped ones that cracked and split after a while.
