Of all the gluten free items I've tried, this is probably the closest in flavor and consistency to it's non gluten free counterpoint that I've found. I can't find this item in my local stores very often so it's worth it to me to pay the slightly higher price and order it from Amazon. It's good made just the way it instructs on the envelope - 1 cup of water + 1 envelope of gravy mix. I sometimes add a spoonful of drippings as well. It tastes best if you do not replace all of the water with drippings.
