The mat washes so easily, and hung outside, dries in the (Southern Texas) sun in time for our next meal. The mat packs up very compactly, and fits in our diaper bag, making it perfect for picnics. It’s also the perfect mat for crafts, especially Playdo. Let the dough crumbs dry, and shake them right off.The accompanying bib was a wonderful surprise. It is long sleeve with elastic around the wrist area, so it covers my son’s sleeves without falling over his hands. I can shake it out after he eats, spot clean it, or rinse it off in the sink and then hang it outside where it dries for the next meal. Then I throw it in the wash at night, and it’s ready for tomorrow.I highly recommend both items. At the end of the day, I can just give this bad boy a shake and toss it in the wash for sticky, wet messes. It washes up super nice and seems like it will hold up well! My only complaint is that it doesn’t fit perfectly under the table, where my two messiest eaters are, but a little folding and maneuvering and it still functions the same.
