This is a fantastic ashtray and a perfect 5-star product. The ceramic build feels heavy, solid, and high-quality. The lid is the absolute best feature it does a great job of keeping the wind from blowing ash everywhere, holds the odor in, and completely hides the mess when it's sitting out on the table. It looks sleek and blends right in with regular patio or home decor. Highly recommend!

We recently put a large porch on our house. We needed something that looks nice but is not obviously an ashtray. This little thing is perfect. The raised middle works great for butting out your cigarette or cigar easily. And the butts don't get stuck inside from over filling. It is very windy here, and the ashes stay out even with the lid off. I have small hands and it is just the right size for me to pick up one handed. It is heavy duty, but not heavy weight. It cleans up easily and odors don't stick to it. As ashtrays go, it's beautiful, lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean, concealed (looks like a candle with lid on) and functions as it should

My roommate picked this ashtray up because she was tired of seeing diet coke cans filled with cigarettes. I know, gross. The ceramic has a really solid, well-made feel to it, and the glazed finish gives it that classic, almost handmade look. This is helpful as it doesn't really look like an ashtray and it hides all of the ashes.Hence, the lid is a big plus. It keeps the ash contained and helps cut down on the smell, which makes a noticeable difference. It’s also deep enough to hold a good amount, so you’re not constantly emptying it. The bottom doesn’t slide around either, so it stays put on the table.I like the little grooves around the edge — they’re smooth and the right size to rest a cigarette without it rolling or feeling awkward. Everything about it feels thought out and easy to use. It's a good spot to rest your cigarette while you have to run inside to get a drink of something.It’s a bit smaller than it looks in photos, but honestly that worked out fine for me since it doesn’t take up much space. It arrived really well packed too, which I appreciated.Overall, it feels sturdy, looks good, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you want an ashtray that’s practical but doesn’t look cheap, this one’s a solid option.
