Of the many similar ones listed, I picked this because it had a large mat and a lot of accessories.Of note, it comes with several pens that you fill with water and write on the pad. There are a lot of shapes, animals, and letters to color which show then when wet. After about 10 minutes it dries and you can write again.My son LOVES it. He grasped the concept pretty quick and enjoyed scribbling on the pad and generally making a mess. He's 18 months, so when he draws with crayons he doesn't press hard enough to really see what it does on paper, but this shows him quick.While he is a less than the recommended age, but we only gave him one of the larger pens to use so he should be ok (none of the accessories which may be out of his age range).Overall I'm very happy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kids Love it *by C***. on May 7, 2019* I have purchased the magic water pen books for my kids to use, but this is next level for them. The pad is very large and comes with so many stencils, pens and accessories. This keeps my kids entertained for hours, they just wait for it to dry and start all over again. Since the only thing wet is water, there is no mess to worry about. The quality is very good. Some of the pens have reverse threads and the labels are incorrect, but that is not a big deal.
