How big are the granules?** A: Nope, not dusty! The granules are about the size of coarse sand. Best product I've found for eliminating pet odors. Even effective on the lawn! **Q: Musty basement odors?** A: I have used this product for many years .... including a few years living in Ohio in a forested area ... which, as you know, can get pretty damp. And, yes, the house we lived in had a very large basement. Musty odors were common place ... especially after rains. I used hanging packets of diatomaceous earth ... AND Odorzout sprinkled along the floor boards and carpets. The one two punch of these two products managed to keep the musty odors at bay. I had to refresh both products about every two months during the "wet" seasons... but it worked. Now, living in Washington State (another rainy area) ... AND with another basement, I just use the Odorzout whenever the "musties" start up ....and it works well.
