**Q: Are these boots slip resistant?**
A: Yes, they are. I’m on my second pair of these boots. They’re a great all-weather, all-season boot.

**Q: are these boots lined with gore tex ? or what them water proof ?**
A: I don’t know what they’re lined with but they are indeed water proof and comfortable providing excellent support. The tongue squeaks when new but a little Vaseline on the backside of the eyelets cures that.

**Q: Do these boots have good arch support? I have flat feet and need good arch support.**
A: No.  But buying the arch inserts will work. I too have a flat foot, size 13, and a very bad back and wow these boots are worth the money. I love mine. Very light weight and easy to break in.

**Q: are polano norwood good for high arches?**
A: I used them for two weeks in Italy and walked about 8-9 miles a day. They were amazing. As for high arches I am not sure. The memory foam was phenomenal.
