Itโs got its minors but love it
Cons: unboxing. First of all the delivery driver just put it at the end of my driveway. I live on an acreage that has a 100yrd long driveway on a somewhat busy paved road that is busy due to a current detour. So I had to leave work and fly home and get it. Box was obviously damaged due to stacking( written right on it do not stack. Can see where warehouse forklift loader stabbed it with the forks on the top when grabbing pallet that was stacked on top.)Wheel bearing shipping covers fell off the tires during shipment. For some odd reason the bearings fell out and had wood splinters and chips all packed into the grease so I had to repack the bearings. What a big waste of time. The hitch receiver was assembled sideways not a big deal but annoying to take apart and correct. The QA inspector it should have been obvious before signing off for packaging. The whole thing being shipped without oil is stupid. The company should state when buying product is shipped without oil.PROS: very easy start up. Three pulls and โbamโ runningSurprisingly it pulls branches down the feeding shoot very well. Bad thing is is that larger branches you have to hold onto because you can overload the machine and kill it. I donโt run anything over 3โ inches for burning purposes. If you run 2โ thick branches with greens on them be cautious because the machine will chew up the actual main green branch easily but once the leaves or needle start going through it will bog down. I mad the mistake one time and man yes getting to the blades for maintenance is easy clearing little live branches is a SOB.gas consumption is dang efficient. Used for two hours straight under full load and didnโt need to refill.I was leaning towards a DR chipper but found this and I love it

Well built machine with a powerful engine
I am using this machine to chip up smaller branches many of which are dried. It is better to chip branches green but these trees have been down for years. One needs to make sure the branches are the right shape in order to avoid clogging up the machine. I do this by using a hand held dirt compactor to break them up so they fit in the hopper. This machine can chip up large 6โ pieces however I typically use pieces that big for firewood. I move it around the property with my ATV.

after a couple tons of chipping
After chipping at least a couple tons of limbs, I'm impressed. Starts easy, and once warmed up, it can be full throttled for gnawing down on larger limbs. I'm chipping mostly hard woods, elm, oak, hickory, and cedar and sycamore, some dead wood and mostly green. it might be a stretch to say it will handle 6" dia. limbs though. It can handle 4: dia. limbs when you nudge it in a little at a time but you have too be ready to pull it back if it starts stalling. 2" to 3" dia. libs are ideal. Both sides are easy to open to clean out when it does get bogged down. If you uncouple the chipper from your truck you can shoot chips into the truck bed or a front end loader on a tractor. Its heavy duty, and basic, which i also like. You definitely need ear protection and a face shield. Debris at times will fly back out at you. Haven't had to change out blades, so can't comment on the ease of getting replacements an installing them. Its a beast and I'm glad i got it.

its a beast
Like all these machines, the actual capacity is a bit less than the claimed diameter capacity. On anything close to 6" you need to ease it in or it will stall almost every time. It's otherwise a great machine. However,- you can't tell how much gas is in the tank when you're adding fuel- the exhaust section gets extremely hot and yet it is painted the same color as everything else and there's no cage around it so easy to burn yourself or melt or heat anything you might lay on top- pretty heavy and bulky to move around without a tractor- does not come with oil which it should- safety key switch mechanism is garbage and affixed poorly, hard to tell which way is on without experimentation

Powerful engine chips huge branches automatically
It took a while to get delivery of such a large and heavy crate from the truck to our residential driveway but was able to uncrate and assemble it myself in about an hour. Added 4 stroke engine oil and gasoline and was able to easily start with a few pulls of the awesome Kohler engine. It vaporizes smaller branches, and relentlessly chips medium branches automatically after you load it into the huge hopper. Massive branches you feed in gradually at first to make sure it can handle it then it feeds the rest automatically. I lined up branches for my son and then my cousin to load into the chipper and we did 3 weeks of work in 2 days. I used an electric Dewalt chainsaw to fell large trees, left the trunks for firewood and as fast as I could limb the branches my cousin would chip them into a huge pile of chips that we spread out for mulch. It has a very useful hitch for pulling with 2 people by hand or attaching to a car to tow to neighboring houses. Have a good quality chipper like this is life-changing if you have ever had to haul brush to the dump in a trailer, had to burn it or used a small chipper. Pay the money and live the dream.

Worth the money
Used for an hour now, makes pretty good chips, handled everything I put into it. Biggest tree I threw in was prolly 3โ diameter. Has a bit of a bounce back when bigger stuff goes in but eventually sucks it in and throws it out. Will bog down a little bit when it first starts eating the bigger stuff. The chute works well but I plan on clamping on a fernco coupler with pvc and a hose to direct and control the spray a little better
