The fan is nearly silent. ### ⭐ Strike one ! *by R***. on July 22, 2024* This purchase would make my 5th Mr Cool unit 1. it had no template to hang the bracket 2. the insulation on the freon line was about as cheap as it could be. I will have to replace it all since it in the outdoors. 3. package had no rubber feet 4. package had no wall hole insert, wall hole trim piece or freon line tape (all as shown in the picture). I mistakenly thought that the "Mr Cool" concept was built around "DIY". Nada nada tostada. I missed the fine print where it said (in bold lettering) "Not DIY". for this particular model. And although I did all of the hooking up and electrical, i missed the part about having to draw a vacuum on the system...which requires a a/c guy and spending more money. Needless to say, I was disappointed that it wasn't a one and done project.....not to mention having the missing elements. All complaining aside, I like theses units. They are economical!
