So far I have mostly used it for both rain and sun protection. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It comes in its own, hard, neoprene type zip case, long and cylindrical shaped like the umbrella, offers good protection but is less suited for carrying in a handbag as its quite long. The umbrella itself is exactly as seen in the pics, I ordered black with red canopy. It came as black metal with black top and red underneath. The top feels almost shiny but sturdy, close to a PVC ish look, very nice quality feel. So far, the wind hasn't blown it inside out but I haven't used it in strong wind yet. Study handle, with a button that automatically shoots the umbrella up and also when you press it again it collapses the umbrella back down. Though you do have to push it down as the extended pole doesn't go down too. That takes some strength so i would say try once before going out.Overall its a really really nice umbrella, good colours, feels strong and good quality, and nice case.
