A compact, Full HD 1080p30 PTZ webcam with a 36-82? field of view, the PTZOptics Huddle Cam 3X Gen2 USB 2.0 Conference Camera, in black, is designed as a professional video conference camera solution for small- to medium-sized conference room system. Simply connect an HD USB camera to a PC, Mac, or Chromebox computer via its USB 2.0 interface and begin video calling virtually from any web conferencing or streaming software including GoToMeeting, WebEX, Skype, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live. Using an included IR remote control for USB PTZ Camera, you can adjust pan, tilt, and zoom various positions, as well as fine-tune other settings on your conference room camera. Up to 64 positions preset can be stored in Huddle 1080p webcam and recalled by means of remote control. It is a very robust PTZ camera for the price. If you’re a small business and on a pretty tight budget, at $400.00 this is a real bargain when it comes to PTZ conferencing cameras. The initial problems I had with the HuddleCamHD 3x PTZ camera were mostly self-made. Since it comes with a remote I started pushing buttons and I pushed the wrong ones. The remote will accept up to 3 cameras. I my zest at pushing buttons, I either pushed the button for camera 2, or maybe 3. After my pushing buttons frenzy, I could not get the HuddleCam to work (period) and at first I did not know why. After visiting the user manual and finally figured it out. Once I selected the camera 1 button the HuddleCamHD came back to life. The Pros: Economical ($400.00). You won’t find a PTZ camera anywhere that I know of at this price. Works great with programs like Skype for video conferencing. Can be used with most video encoders for live streaming or creating videos. I do know it works well with vMix live video encoder. 2-Year warranty. HuddleCamHD 3x can be setup by just about anyone in a few minutes USB (2.0) connection will allow for use with older computers that do not have USB 3.0. Note, the HuddleCamHD is however backward compatible to USB 3.0. Review: The price is right! - I bought this as part of a demo project for the church I belong to. We needed to live stream the service with the best trade off between quality and affordability. I had expected the church to invest in better equipment after I integrated it with a boom speaker, tripod and AMCap software. The result surprised me. After many months, my church is still using this proof of concept, demo setup, to live stream the church service!

A: Yes you can mount it upside down and still have the inage right side up.

**Q: Does this camera track you as you move?**
A: No, it does not track, but you can use the remote to manually track. Additionally, there is the ability to preset camera adjustments depending on the fixed locations you might have in a space.

**Q: Will the USB connection supply power to the camera?**
A: Hi, the USB does not supply power to the camera.  The camera has a power cord that connect on the back of the Huddlecam. USB connection supplies the picture to your monitor. I hope this helps.

This is a great ptz camera for the money. We have two other 10x ptz cameras...one Huddlecam ($900) and one PTZ optics. ($1600) Those are super in our larger room where the 10x in needed. This guy ($400) is perfect for our small conference room/table gatherings. If I had it to do over I might have bought black instead of white (a little more subtle aesthetically) but instead I'm looking for an Imperial Walker model to use as a base to finish out the look of our conference room's new little Stormtrooper.
