Our front load washer would slightly rock and the pedestal on one corner would begin to thread up. Sitting on tile, the sound was not loud but none-the-less annoying and could be heard downstairs. Using a crowbar and small block I was able to lift each corner of the washer on my own and place the rubber bumpers. NO SOUNDS ANYMORE, although the washer still slightly rocks (as is normal with a heavy load).
