I have three lights one of which the bulb has gone however old box says 15w on it** A: Yes this is the replacement as they no longer make the fluorescent version. This one is powered by LEDs so has a lower power consumption hence the lower wattage rating - but produces the same level of light output. It’s virtually identical to the originals, but has a slightly smaller base between the tube and the screw thread, and the tubes are plastic with a matte finish rather than the glass/ gloss originals - they look identical when turned on, and next to identical when off.
