I am almost always a true 6.5, and the 5.5 fit me perfectly. The first time I wore them, they rubbed the top of my foot at the base of my little toe where they were stitched. I purchased some no-show loafer liners, and I have not had any further problems with them rubbing. They have also stretched out in width and provide a perfect fit. These mocassins look so cute with skinny jeans. I love the tan color and the beaded design - they match so many things. I have worn them for trips to the mall that involve a lot of walking, and they are so comfortable I don't notice them at all. They are also very quiet because of the rubber bottoms. I wore these to an outdoor party after a heavy rain. I ended up walking on dirt and wet grass for most of the night, and I thought that these shoes would be ruined for sure. When I arrived home I was ecstatic to find that only the soles had grass on dirt on them, and they cleaned up perfectly.
