A plastic cover in the grill had to be removed to expose the threaded holes in the frame. This will be useful to tie down items carried on the roof. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with 2025 RAV4 *by A***R on May 8, 2026* This tow hook (51961-30020) works fine on a 2025 Toyota Rav4 with the front tow points on the bumper (which I guess are only found on Japanese made models). It is 1.5 inches shorter than the recommended spec model from Toyota for the RAV (51961-42060) but the threading is the same, so it screws in fine, and the length is enough to extend past the bumper. I'm not sure why Toyota only gives you one of these with the car-makes it difficult for hitching canoes to the front, and the entire rest of the front of the car is plastic with no attachment points.
