**Q: How much water do you mix for every 4 gallons of paint?**
A: Athletic Paints for grass fields
You purchase Athletic Paint in 5 gallons buckets and its real pasty.  So you mix 5 gallons of water or 10 gallons of water with it. Usually 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 mix. This gets the paint cost down to $2 or $3 gallons of mixed material. Don’t spend a lot for paint, just an inexpensive Athletic Field Paint because you end up mowing the grass 2 weeks later and relining. You can buy the Athletic Paint for approx. $35 or $40 per 5 gallons. It takes approx. 10 gallons of mixed material to line the border of the field and all the 5 yard lines. Then approx. 10 gallons to do the numbers and hash marks for the football field. Depending on how thick you put the paint down on the field.

**Q: How much water do you mix per 1 gallon of paint**
A: The key to getting an even spray pattern is getting the thinness of the paint just right. Usually 2 or 3 quarts of water per 5 gallons of paint. We send a Viscosity Cup with the unit, that insures it is just right before you pour it into the paint tank.

**Q: Can i use paint from lowes  ?**
A: Our equipment can handle any type of paint. (Water Based, Oil Based, Chlorinated Rubber Based, and even a 2 part Epoxy Paint.  The gaskets are made for all types of chemicals.

I have experience with the true line striper and I already new it was a top notch product with excellent customer service. I ordered a striper through their website and had a glitch completing the order so I ordered it through amazon thinking the first order didn’t go through and I was charged on both websites; my bad. The company recognized immediately and emailed me to confirm that I wanted two machines and when I informed them what I did they promptly refunded me
