I purchased this for my bird bath to keep the water circulating and prevent scum from growing. I am not disappointed. I've had this running for about two weeks now and it hasn't given me any issues. Rain, sun, or cloudy... this bad boy keeps pumping. The suction power is most definitely there because I have to clean it every day, which is the only downfall. It sucks up all the debris in my bird bath and gets stuck in the filter. Its important to clean it every day to prevent killing the motor.
