Compared to scaraway it is stickier and also has more stickiness duration. It’s also not single use like mepitac. For me neither mepitac or scaraway tape actually keep their stick if you wash them off with dawn dish soap, so it’s the only one that really works for me. Mepitac is about 3 dollars cheaper, but it comes off way too easily during normal use and is technically only meant to be used once so cicatape is more effective for me. If scaraway actually stayed sticky for more than one use I might like it but since it doesn’t no way am I buying 6 small tabs for 19 bucks. With cicatape you get a roll that lasts a month or more, and I have quite a bit of scarring so it’s a lot. I’m healing quite well, and I have no idea if it’s due to the silicone tape or not but it’s scientifically proven to be one of the only things so I’ll do it. I’ve recently bought a cheaper generic silicone tape from Amazon and hate it. Not as sticky not as effective keeps coming off.
