They work “okay” for that purpose IMO. Installation is easy, and they stick fairly well if you’re not using your camera hard. If you use it as a tool and don’t baby it, then you’ll pop a few off or at least have them scooted over and only covering half a button by the end of a long wedding or sports tournament. The shutter sticker is pretty much useless on A7/A9 bodies since they have a curved button and it doesn’t stick well. Not a big deal for me, as I mainly wanted to use them for marking the video and replay buttons. For those flat buttons they tend to work fine. The menu button is so small that it doesn’t take long for it to get pushed around and not stick very well anymore. Maybe they’ve improved the application procedure, because a couple of weeks after I ordered these, I received unsolicited replacements in the mail with updated instructions.... so kudos to the company there for being proactive. I haven’t used those yet since I just don’t really like the feel of the rubbery bumps as much as I thought I would. If they were smoother and mildly textured I might like them better than the current sticky rubber. I slide my fingers across buttons all the time and I found these bumps to be too sticky, causing them to catch on my fingertips and either causing me to press the button awkwardly or eventually pulling the bump up from the button. IMO a flatter, textured sticker would work better for how I work. I still have one stuck to my video button, to make sure I don’t accidentally hit that instead of using AF-ON for back button focus.
