Review: It works - Good buy it works be careful sliding the strip into the connector it can be too tight you might need a small screw driver to help it go into the slot.
Review: Works great! - Item worked great use these to create a daisy chain of led lights under my tool box for a soft red glow. Had to snip them and extend the wires. Wires cut, crimp,and solder well. I will warn the wires are very very small they have to be like 24 gauge they are hard to do normal crimps. There also touchy to solder but the actual copper itself takes solder very well. Also have to pay attention to polarity when hooking up connectors. I had to reverse my wires on one set. Overall I would buy again. My only gripe I wish the wire was a little longer

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had problem getting the end of the 300-LED string into the end connectors

I built a lighting project with Hitlight strips and end connectors about three years ago and had 100% success making a total of 6 end connections. However, a product change in the 300-LED strip and/or the end connectors that I recently purchased caused me lots of frustration and several wasted connectors before I figured out a work-around. The 300-LED strip from three years ago had a brown backing/circuit board film. The recently-purchased 300-LED strip came with a white, thinner. more flexible backing. When I tried to push the end of the new strip into an end connector, the white backing was too flimsy to be forced under the connector's contacts. It wrinkled up instead of sliding under the contacts. I first tried to ease some of the tension on the connectors by forcing a thin knife blade under each contact. This allowed the film strip to slide into place. However, the lights would not light. I had ruined the connector with the knife blade. I finally figured out that if I set the white backing in place next to the contacts then used a very small 1/8" blade straight screwdriver to help ease the film under the contacts then everything worked fine. See photo below. Slide the white backing strip into the end connector until the two copper dots just touch the contacts. Then position a small screwdriver on an angle as shown and, exerting considerable downward pressure on the strip, work the strip all the way under the connectors.
