**Q: Does emotiva audio xpa-200 work well with an energy take classic 5.1 system?**
A: maybe the xpa-200 is a bit much for a subwoofer satellite speaker system, first its a 2 channel amp so it will only power the left and right channels not the center or surround channels. second this amp produces about 150 watts per channel which is overkill for satellite speakers. the upa-200 is cheaper, and has less power but is also a 2 channel amp. emotiva does have 5 channel amps in their product line, these would probably be better for you

**Q: Will this drive my klipsch rf-82 well?**
A: The amplifier is able to drive any speaker from 4-8 ohm. The rf-82 is 8 ohm. I do not see a reason why not.

**Q: Is the sound warm or neutral?**
A: I am using the Emotiva 200 to drive the two rear channels. The speakers are B&W 601's. Running just my back channels in 4 channel mode the sound is quite neutral. The amp seems to be built very well. It's a very good looking piece of equipment(shades of Mac.). I'm sorry that I cannot address your question any better. Rear channels don't provide a lot sound to give a good answer to your question.

A: I have the Yamaha 3040 and the xpa 200 that I use for the front left and right and it sounds great. I did consider going with the xpa 3 and I bet it would sound great to but I saved a little money going with the xpa 200 it was more in my budget.
