The aluminium oxide grains are more durable, have a self-sharpening action and clog less, giving high performance sanding that outlasts sandpaper by up to 10 times. It's ideal both for hand sanding - with or without a sanding block - and machine sanding: at 115mm wide the roll is the standard width for power tools. The E-weight backing paper used in ProDec aluminium oxide is highly flexible and crack resistant so it withstands being creased and folded, making it ideal for sanding contoured or shaped surfaces, as well as being easy to cut for power tool use. ProDec aluminium oxide is available in a range of grits that deliver very fine to very aggressive abrasion and it's important to select the correct grit to match the task at hand. Use the guide below to help you make the right choice. The abrasive paper of choice used by trade professionals in preference to sandpaper. The aluminium oxide grains are more durable, have a self-sharpening action and clog less, giving high performance sanding that outlasts sandpaper by up to 10 times. ProFlex takes aluminium oxide to the next level, replacing the standard backing paper with an ultra-flexible, crack-resistant cotton cloth, giving outstanding performance with curved and profiled surfaces by moulding effortlessly to match their shape for fast, efficient sanding. Sanding Mesh has a hi-tech mesh construction to prevent blockage, which allows sanding dust to escape through the mesh rather than clogging it. The mesh is coated on both sides with durable glass fibre and aluminium oxide abrasive, so when one side is finally spent you can simply turn it over and use the other side. It all adds up to a longer working life and faster, more efficient sanding than traditional sandpaper. Fine finish abrasive paper that provides a smooth surface between coats of paint or varnish, giving the ideal substrate key for optimum adhesion. Uniformly sized grit particles eliminate sanding scratches for a perfect finish. Featuring high quality silicon carbide abrasive bonded onto waterproof paper, Wet & Dry has the advantage that it can be used with water to reduce dust with no loss of sanding performance. Ideal for sanding larger areas such as whole walls, ceiling or floors to prepare before decorating, ProDec has sanding heads for use by hand or with an extension pole that are compatible with all types and grades of abrasive paper. Impregnated with a special lightly tacky resin that efficiently picks up any loose dust, lint, dirt and other debris that's often not visible to the naked eye, tack cloths ensure the surface is clean and free from contaminants, which can otherwise reduce the adhesion performance of coatings and lead to flaking and cracking. Steel wool is ideal for a range of general purpose cleaning and degreasing tasks on metal, wood and other surfaces, as well as surface preparation prior to painting. It can be moulded to any shape to enable easy abrasion or cleaning of pipes and especially irregular, contoured or hard to reach spots. ## Features - Trade quality general purpose aluminium oxide for hand or machine sanding of wood, paint, plaster, fillers, metal and more - Resin-over-resin bonded abrasive lasts up to 10 times longer than sandpaper and other silicon carbide abrasives and gives an ultra smooth, even surface ready for painting, priming, staining or varnishing - Crack resistant backing paper that is easily cut to size and can handle curved, moulded and irregular surfaces without falling apart - 120 grit Fine grade suitable for final sanding prior to applying a first coat of paint or varnish to wood, smoothing surface imperfections, removing texture on plaster and fillers and removing water stains on wood.
