Perfect for sports, wildlife, and landscape photography, it features advanced optics with SLD glass and multi-layer coatings to ensure sharp, vibrant images across the entire zoom range. Equipped with a removable tripod collar and compatible with teleconverters, this lens offers professional versatility and precision for ambitious photographers. ## Description This ultra-telephoto zoom lens covers a telephoto range up to 500mm and allows photographers to bring the subject close and short perspective. Sigma’s original OS (Optical Stabilizer) function offers the use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower. It is ideal for sports, wildlife and landscape photography with handheld shooting. Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements provide excellent correction for chromatic aberration. This lens is equipped with a rear focus system that minimizes fluctuation of aberration caused by focusing. The super multi-layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting. High image quality is assured throughout the entire zoom range. This lens incorporates HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), which ensures a quiet and high-speed AF as well as full-time manual focusing capability. The addition of the (optional) 1.4x EX DG APO or 2x EX DG APO Tele Converters produce a 210-700mm F7-9 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens or a 300-1000mm F10-13 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens respectively. A removable tripod socket (TS-31) is included as a standard component. ## Features - Front & Rear Caps - Lens Hood - TS-31 Tripod Collar - Case - Strap ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B001542X64 | | Best Sellers Rank | #557 in SLR Camera Lenses | | Brand | Sigma | | Camera Lens | Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras | | Color | black | | Compatible Camera Models | Nikon | | Compatible Camera Mount | Nikon F (FX) | | Compatible Devices | Nikon | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (473) 4.4 out of 5 stars | | Exposure Control Type | Automatic, Manual | | Focal Length Description | 150-500 millimeters | | Focus Type | Ring-type ultrasonic | | Image Stabilization | 4 stops claimed | | Item Part Number | 737955 | | Item Weight | 4.2 pounds | | Lens | Telephoto | | Lens Coating Description | Super Protect Coating | | Lens Design | Zoom | | Lens Fixed Focal Length | 50 centimeters | | Lens Mount | Nikon F | | Manufacturer | Sigma Corporation | | Manufacturer Part Number | 737306 | | Maximum Aperture | 6.3 f_stop | | Maximum Focal Length | 500 | | Maximum Shutter Speed | 1/2000 seconds | | Media Type | ProductImage | | Minimum Aperture | 28 | | Minimum Focal Length | 150 | | Model Name | 737306 | | Model Number | 737306 | | Number Of Diaphragm Blades | 9 | | Real Angle Of View | 16.4 degrees | | Screen Size | 3 inches | | Upc | 150000581686 085126737559 989898523092 | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Zoom Ratio | 1:5-6.3 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sigma - **Camera Lens Description:** Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - **Compatible Mountings:** Nikon F (FX) - **Focal Length Description:** 150-500 millimeters - **Lens Type:** Telephoto ## Images ![Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41ASdtoMMtL.jpg) ![Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41DiRHiQvkL.jpg) ![Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41mf0bsKAgL.jpg) ![Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41e7tk8rj0L.jpg) ![Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51E38xVjWLL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it fit with Canon EOS 5D?** A: Yes.
