## Description

Therma-Flec is a 100% cotton batting material that is heat resistant up to 360 degrees farenheit. Great for oven or cooking mitts, BBQ accessories, hot pads, ironing boards or ironing board covers, hot dishes, costume design, and a wide variety of craft applications.

Review: Perfect solution for renewing your ironing board. - Two yards was enough to make 2 new ironing board covers and two new sleeve board covers. It’s a thin muslin fabric but perhaps that is best for quick evaporation of steam and water. My ironing board is a gigantic, deluxe one made in Italy that is 18” wide x 58” long. A 2 yard piece of this fabric worked well. I could not find a ready made replacement cover that would fit because the taper on my board is only on one side and the size is not standard.
Review: Fabri. Cuts and sets nicelym - Will work well that are sewn inside quilted sleeves I am making to hold & protect other fabric and clothing from hot curling irons, etc.

**Q: What's the highest temperature I can buy in therma-flec?**
A: I’m not sure I understand your question but the thermaflec fabric can withstand the highest temperature (the linen setting). It doesn’t scorch as easily as cotton.

**Q: it is machine washable?**
A: Absolutely it is machine washable! Wash with detergent and warm water on gentle cycle to remove any excess starch on the ironing board cover.

**Q: I need 50 yards how do I order it**
A: This listing is sold by the yard continuous

**Q: What is the “batting” part - is this thick cover w/ batting underneath?**
A: This product is a heat resistant/ reflective fabric that doesn't have a batting attached. I use it to cover an ironing board that I also put 100% cotton on under the fabric. It is thin and will tear easily. It does an excellent job for an ironing board cover or pot holder surface.
