Review: This thing is awesomely awesome - I got a really good deal on this Bose Sound Dock system. It works great with my iPhone 4s (ignore the other customers who says it doesn't). The original price was $249.99 on Bose.com and I knew I could find it cheaper so I went here to desertcart and found it at a really good price. If you don't know about Bose, it's a high quality sound system. It comes installed in most GM cars, they have surround systems, speakers, and even a suspension system for your car that gives you a smooth ride. I would know because I have the Bose stereo system in my car and the Bose suspension system. But anyway bragging about how awesome Bose is... The Bose Docking System II is very small. The sound quality is so clear. The packaging came within it's time frame. It was very well packaged. I purchased a used docking system but I can't tell it's used because it's in such great condition. In the back of the product, it has an auxiliary output. It didn't come with an auxiliary cord. I don't know if it was supposed to but I have my own cord so it didn't matter to me. Also in the box is the remote (new remote). The volume, play, and off buttons are the only ones that work. I don't have a problem getting up and changing the song myself. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose. And if you are a common Bose customer, you know that Bose makes the smallest products and they get REALLY LOUD. The sound is really clear (unless you have a song that is mono; I strongly recommend that you have all songs in stereo. Songs in mono sound crappy on any sound system). I haven't turned it up all the way because I stay in my dorm and I don't want to get a noise complaint lol. I couldn't bring my huge stereo on campus so the Sound Dock replaced it and is just as loud and saves a lot of space. I think this product is good for a party or a get together. The speaker is designed to have an iPhone 5 or any Ipod Touch with a 8 pin lightning connector docked on it. If you have the Pandora app on your device, then it will play Pandora while docked on the docking station. There is no way to send music wirelessly to this system unless you hook up a 3rd party Bluetooth adaptor to the AUX in. If you are looking for Bluetooth wireless as a feature on a speaker, you would be better off considering the Soundlink Bluetooth III speaker. **Q: Some reviewers say that this product supports bluetooth. But the Bose website says it does not. Can someone clarify this?** A: No, it does not support bluetooth. You have to get a separate adapter. **Q: Does this work with the the latest ipad (not air)** A: It should be able to dock, but if it does, the iPad will probably block the speakers. But there is an auxiliary port also that will work with the iPad. **Q: Does it work for mini iPads?** A: Don't know. Bought it for the iPad air only. Works great and fits well.
