It is NOT made with tempered glass! Tempered glass breaks in a certain way/pattern. The back side of the case broke and I cut my finger picking the case up, not knowing it had actually broke the glass. A large piece had fallen out of the frame and left an open edge of glass that my finger unfortunately came into contact with. When the front screen on the first one I bought cracked I even decided to buy another assuming I had not been careful enough with it. This morning after only a little more than a week I noticed the front face of this one is now cracked in a similar manner. I know that this time I did nothing that should have caused this.
